　　Description: An entry level Drafter job is currently available at Belcan in Rockford, IL. This is a full-time direct job with benefits. To be considered, you will need an Associate Degree in Drafting, Design, Product Definition, or similar and zero to three years of experience. You will be a part of a team of Designer Drafters to incorporate engineering changes per modeling standards. You will also produce drawings to include detail views for various assemblies and mechanical components such as gear boxes, fans and pumps for the aerospace industry. 

　　Entry Level Drafter Job Duties:

　　Learn and utilize business/customer standards and design practices

　　Uses appropriate drafting standards to produce various detail, assembly, and layout drawings, or

　　other diagrams and schematics to transform the design into a more useful visual representation.

　　Revises drawings to conform to design change orders.

　　Assists design personnel, as required, in all other aspects of drawing creation process.

　　Ability take ownership for assigned drawings, and coordinate with design lead.

　　Work is subject to close review while in progress and upon completion.

　　Qualifications:

　　*          Zero to three years of Drafting experience

　　*          Associate Degree in Drafting, Design, Product Definition, or similar

　　*          Proficiency with a 3D CAD Software preferably Siemens NX

　　*          Due to the nature of our work, US Citizenship is required

　　*          Ability and willingness to obtain clearance if needed to support upcoming project

　　Desired but not required skills:

　　*          Previous aerospace drafting experience

　　Compensation:

　　We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $49,920 to $68,640. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
