NTA, Inc. Is seeking an Entry Level Software (SW) Engineer to support research, development, and engineering activities at Redstone Arsenal. Job responsibilities include real-time code development, unit testing, and safety analysis required to support the development, integration, test, and evaluation of guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) systems for U.S. Army weapon systems. This position supports the Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC) in missile and aviation system research and development.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from ABET accredited institution0 - 3 years of experienceRequired:
Experience with C, C++High level of computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office SuiteOrganizational, written, and verbal communication skillsDetail oriented with good analytical skills, a team player, and capable of handling multiple deadlines and prioritiesAbility to travel (10% or less)Desired:
Experience withAdaExperience with PythonExperience with software development for real-time, safety-critical systemsExperience with source code version control tools and issue management systemsKnowledge of Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) or MicrocontrollersExperience with LinuxApplicant must have a current security clearance or be able to obtain a security clearance through a government security investigation. U.S. Citizenship is required.
