responsibilities:

Enter vendor invoices into the general ledger system, including ensuring coding is to the correct company, general ledger account and department

Work closely with vendors to ensure each company's accounts payable detail is accurate and update to date; answer vendor inquiries

Ensuring all vendors have up to date W-9 and payment information in the system

Management of daily and weekly cash transfers among bank accounts

Develop, implement and maintain a formal invoice review and approval process that utilizes the company's existing software capabilities

qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years Accounts Payable experience - preferably within a fast paced - mid to large sized company

Strong attention to detail is required

Above average financial systems / Excel experience is preferred

skills: Accounts Payable, A/P Processing, 1099s, A/P Review
