　　Description: An Entry Level Control Systems Engineer job in Cincinnati, OH is currently available at Belcan. To be considered, you will need a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering with an emphasis on controls. As a Control Systems Engineer, you must have the experience with software tools and the organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of internal stakeholders and external clients.

　　Job Duties:

　　Control System and Data software and requirement development

　　Closed-loop control system design

　　Wind/Gas Turbine Engine operation design

　　Sensor and Actuator simulation and modeling

　　Transient Analysis of Wind/Gas Turbine Engines

　　Wind/Gas Turbine Engine test planning and support

　　Act as interface between software developers and customers

　　Works with wind turbine control systems.

　　Implements changes to aero-derivative wind turbine software in the MATLAB and Simulink environment.

　　Tests and validates control software.

　　Prepares material documenting change requirements, implementation, testing and validation results.

　　Troubleshooting and analysis

　　Required Qualifications:

　　Bachelor's or Masters degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering with an emphasis on controls

　　Wind/Gas turbine experience

　　Control Theory experience

　　Wind/Aero/Thermodynamic experience

　　MATLAB/Simulink experience

　　Programming/scripting experience

　　Strong oral and written communication skills

　　PC proficiency

　　Operations experience

　　Data Analysis experience

　　Due to the nature of the work performed, U.S. Citizenship is a requirement.

　　Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

　　Basic knowledge of software development tools, such as MATLAB/Simulink, LabView, DOORS, etc., may be helpful, but is not required.

　　Interest in Wind or other Renewable energy applications.

　　The salary range for this role is $65,000 to $85,000; however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
