　　The successful candidate will work with existing team members to maintain, evolve, and optimize the Sponsor’s Elasticsearch capabilities, to include both current and future deployments.

　　Duties, Tasks & Responsibilities

　　Supporting large, enterprise footprint deployments of Elasticsearch in a fast-paced, mission environment

　　Providing full troubleshooting support to Elasticsearch deployments as needed, to include the system and software levels

　　Configuring, maintaining, and optimizing Elasticsearch environments

　　Upgrading Elasticsearch as required

　　Supporting the architecture, design, and deployment of new Elasticsearch clusters or capabilities as needed

　　Optimizing Elasticsearch capabilities and working with other team members to ensure the highest possible level of data/search parity

　　Creating, reviewing, and maintaining information technology documentation, particularly related to Elasticsearch capabilities and requirements

　　Required Experience, Skills, & Technologies

　　2+ years relevant experience

　　Strong Linux administration experience, including configuring and maintaining Linux servers

　　Strong scripting experience

　　Demonstrated experience with automated management and deployment systems, ideally Ansible

　　Experience with Elasticsearch in a large and complex environment

　　High School Diploma/GED

　　Master's degree can replace 1 years of experience; and/or any relevant certification can replace 6 months of experience

　　Desired Experience, Skills & Technologies

　　Experience with the design, implementation, and management of large Elasticsearch clusters

　　Experience interfacing Hadoop with Elasticsearch

　　Experience interfacing RDBMS implementations with Elasticsearch

　　Experience supporting multiple simultaneous development implementations with Elasticsearch

　　Experience performing Elasticsearch diagnostics and performance tuning

　　Security Clearance Required

　　TS/SCI with PolygraphPhysical Requirements:

　　Use hands to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

　　The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

　　Constantly positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet
