Description Robert Half is looking for an experienced Collections Specialist with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail. This role is with a company in the Service field. 　　Your responsibilities

　　Act as mediator in maintaining quality customer service and a positive company image by resolving customer account inquiries

　　Log all customer payments to the correct reports

　　Accurately process bankruptcy filings when received

　　Attend to inbound and outbound collections calls and correspondence

　　Maintain and update customer files to ensure data integrity

　　Manage all billing and reporting activities in line with deadlines

　　Ensure payments are processed

　　Locate delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. skip-tracing, phone contact, written correspondence, and make arrangements for payment

　　Comply with all Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act rules and regulations Requirements - Ability to survey and make decisions regarding customer accounts

　　Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company

　　2-3 years of prior high volume collections experience

　　Prior experience using accounting software

　　Collections experience desired

　　Consumer collections experience

　　Experience with Inbound Outbound Calls

　　Adeptness in customer service

　　Foundational knowledge in Accounts Receivable (AR)

　　Proficiency in Collections

　　AA or BS/BA in Accounting preferred
