Corporate Technology (CT), Finance & Business Management (F&BM) is seeking a high performing Executive Director to support the Corporate Oversight & Governance Technology division of the department. The position reports directly to the Corporate Technology CFO, and will have responsibility for all financial and business management processes, the innovation and change agenda, defining and implementing strategic toolsets, and driving optimization across the function. Our organization is aligned to Corporate Technology, which builds and operates the tools, applications and systems that underpin our key corporate functions like Risk, Finance, Treasury, Compliance, Chief Administrative Office, Legal, etc. in support of multiple JPM Operating Committee members.
The candidate should have a proven track record of superior problem-solving skills and partnership through previous experience in Finance & Business Management, Program Management, Financial Controls, Business/Technology Priorities & Goals, Project and People Performance & Planning, Risk & Controls, Banking Technology and/or Business Strategy & Growth. The individual must effectively partner and communicate with the CT Leadership Team, Finance and Business Management leads, Project Management Offices, Procurement and Sourcing, Global Real Estate, HR, and other key stakeholders and support teams.

Job responsibilities
Partner with the senior leaders in Technology and Finance & Business Management (F&BM) in all areas of business management including budget planning, monthly forecasting and reporting, headcount planning and tracking, location strategy, productivity tracking, run rate analysis, monitoring expenses, and cost recovery.
Perform day-to-day Finance & Business Management function and align to leadership's key agenda items, discussion topics, strategy and objectives.
Partner with the business to develop key performance metrics tied to our transformation and effectively communicate the benefits linked to these efforts.
Build strong relationships & partner effectively with multiple Finance & Business Management Leads and key stakeholder's leads across various Lines of Business.
Assist with alignment with Transformation workstreams including helping & financial management tools.
Partner strategically with Tech Leadership in all areas of financial management - delivering an annual budget with a multi-year outlook, monthly reporting & forecasting, headcount & expense management.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Demonstrated experience (10+ years) in finance and/or strategy, preferably with a focus in Technology, Financial Services and/or Banking.
5+ years of management experience
Flexible in their work style, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels and influence key stakeholders.
Self-motivated, innovative thinker with the ability to derive, formulate, and develop new concepts, processes and value-added activities.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to synthesize large amounts of data, summarize key concepts and articulate relevant issues to senior management.
Must be able to design business reporting and analysis that is clear, concise and actionable.
Excellent quantitative and analytic problem-solving skills; superior analytical and financial modeling skills.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Strong technical skills with Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PitchPRO); proven track record of partnering with other subject matter experts to deliver holistic insights.
Experience with Technology Finance & Business Management
Advance knowledge of Essbase, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams, and SharePoint
Experience with Business applications (Tableau, Ariba)
