　　JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

　　We are searching for an entry level Enterprise Systems Engineer to join our Applied Enterprise Systems Department at the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at Penn State University. The selected candidate will support ongoing research into systems that run the largest and most complex enterprises in the world. In addition, you will also engage with Department of Defense (DoD) customers to understand current business processes, understand current technology trends, and recommend process improvement paths to help inform digital transformation efforts.

　　Responsibilities include:

　　Design, develop, test, and demonstrate new business applications and solutions using enterprise business system technologies that address next generation defense needs

　　Test and evaluate software tools and architectures, perform technology trade studies, and recommend transition strategies for enterprise application technologies or add on capability such as AI or machine learning.

　　Maintain competency and awareness in emerging software system design and implementation

　　Document and present research findings that contribute to customer deliverables

　　Work collaboratively to define new project concepts and contribute to proposals

　　Minimally requires a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in an Engineering or Science discipline.

　　Required skills and experience include:

　　Experience/coursework in business application development or configuration using SAP.Preferred skills include:
