  Description

  SAIC is seeking an Enterprise Ops Manager. The successful candidate will lead all Enterprise Ops matters in support of this work. This is an impending contract based in Colorado Springs, CO. We will be offering a competitive compensation package, to include flextime. We are looking for a candidate that is creative and driven to success. The successful candidate will have a passion for problem solving while showing a calm demeanor to the team. The problems encountered under this role will be real world issues, needing fast-paced remedies, on a scale of multi-level cross-functional IT disciplines. You will be a part of a dynamic team that must deliver real-time problem-solving solutions.

  Responsibilities:

  Manage operations and shall be responsible for ITSM Tiers 1, 2, and 3. The Operations Manager is responsible for steady-state operations and shall analyze and improve organizational processes, quality, productivity, and efficiency.

  Provide day to day management and coordination of the individuals responsible for the production systems, resource management and operational project assignments.

  Has demonstrated knowledge of managing special projects, AAR, Root Cause Analysis, Change Management, and Configuration Management as required.

  Ensure infrastructure components such as but not limited to Networks, Data Centers, Servers, SANs, NAS, Virtual Machines, Cloud Service Providers and storage components are optimally maintained to achieve the highest value to the customer.

  Participate in other functional areas to resolve production problems and initiate corrective actions.

  Meet expected quality of service on maintenance and deployment of upgrades, enhancements, and modifications to operational systems.

  Promote and implement standards and procedures.

  Work within the established change control processes and coordinate appropriate downtime activities with internal and external consumers.

  Prepare for and respond to audits for compliance with established standards, policies, configuration guidelines and procedures.

  Maintain and expand comprehensive system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation.

  Participate in the planning and implementation of IT modernization activities, and systems integration.

  Other tasks and duties assigned as necessary to meet the requirements of successful Task Order execution.

  Experience in the DoD classified and unclassified communications transport, and the organizations that manage them.

  Experience implementing SLAs and performance metrics.

  Qualifications

  Required skills and Certifications:

  · Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or information/technology systems management.

  · ITIL Foundations 4.0 Certification

  · Top Secret /SCI eligibility

  · Minimum of five (5) years demonstrated networks and systems operations experience in support of NetOps C2, and communications to include governance and policy and process development and implementation.

  · Experience in the DoD classified and unclassified communications transport, and the organizations that manage them.

  · Demonstrated strong presentation communication skills, oral and written; comfortability briefing Government Stakeholders and Executive Leadership

  · IA baseline certification 8570 – 8140 IAT Level III or IAM Level III, Certification in one of the following areas, CASP CE, CCNP Security, CISA, GCED, GCIH, CISSP (or Associates), CISM, GSLC.

  Desired Skills and Certifications:

  Demonstrated experience working with a distributed team.

  Demonstrated experience managing/leading NOC/NOSC or in a major DoD or IC network program.

  PMP Certification as accredited (Project Management Institute (PMI)).

  Target salary range: $200,001 - $225,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
