About Enterprise Growth Account Executive, Uber for Business

  This is a hybrid role - our team collaborates in-person out of our incredible office in New York City on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

  About the Role

  The Uber for Business team is looking for a sharp, highly motivated individual to join our team! As an Enterprise Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and operational and commercial excellence with our existing customers.

  In this position, you will build strong relationships and position yourself as a trusted advisor to clients. Work closely with current customers to understand their unique challenges and goals, acting as a consultative partner on the Uber for Business platform to demonstrate how Uber for Business can help them meet their objectives.

  Account managers own the relationship and growth strategy by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, negotiating deals that are mutually beneficial, and getting commitment from senior decision-makers. You will partner with our implementation team to launch new products, use cases, or expansions with the ultimate goal of growing revenue and driving product adoption.

  Are you a self-starter who forms positive relationships, assesses opportunities, develops informed solutions, and delivers measurable results? This role needs someone who has a deep understanding of how businesses operate, and the priorities that drive decisions from the C-level is very important. Most of all, you're passionate about helping customers achieve their business goals and motivated to drive revenue growth.

  What You'll Do

  Develop a comprehensive view of the client that includes their business priorities, competitive edge in the marketplace, industry trends, and key strategic partner relationships.Grow and retain a book of business and proactively identify expansion opportunities to drive growth across multiple lines of business, products, and services for customers to exceed revenue goals. (Increase adoption and usage of our current programs, expand to new offices or departments, or cross-sell new product offerings)Negotiate contract renewals, amendments, and expansions by collaborating with cross-functional teams and owning the discussion with the client.Build, enhance, and implement long-term client relationships and communication at the C-level, with executives, key decision-makers, and influencers. Ensure our partners have an exceptional experience with Uber for Business.Conduct monthly or quarterly business reviews to illustrate the adoption of our platform and drive the conversation towards opportunities to expand the partnership and spend with Uber.Act as an advocate for customers, internally conveying their customer-specific needs across the organization to ensure proper alignment and prioritization of resources and advise the product roadmap.Adapt to the changing needs and priorities of our business and clients.Collaborate with colleagues to share standard methodologies, support the team, and promote a positive culture.

  Basic Qualifications

  Bachelor's DegreeMinimum of 4 years of B2B experience in a client-facing functionExperience in an Account Manager or Account Executive quota-carrying roleExperience partnering with and presenting to senior leaders

  Preferred Qualifications

  Minimum of 5+ years of client-facing experienceMinimum of 3+ years in a full quota-carrying sales cycle role: prospecting, pitching & closingExperience selling to Global and US enterprise accountsEnterprise sales experienceExperience in Anything-as-a-Service (Tech Based), Tech that is consumption-based, selling into multiple verticalsExcellent written & verbal communication and interpersonal skillsAmbitious spirit, this team moves fast and always operates in new and ambiguous spacesAbility to handle the big picture and the tiny details. You're organized and always on top of your deadlines to ensure nothing gets missed. You flourish by creating new ways to grow revenue within existing partnershipsCollaboration and teamwork are natural.You are an effective problem solver: think critically and independently about solutions, collaborate cross-functionally, and help clients and internal teams solve problems.Strong prioritization skills: able to manage time effectively, prioritizing high-value clients, while working with multiple customers to deliver on goals and improve processes.You operate with speed, resourcefulness, and a go-getter attitude! You pick up things fast and run with them.

  For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$102,000 per year - USD$113,500 per year.

  For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$113,000 per year - USD$126,000 per year.

  For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered sales bonuses & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits. More details can be found at the following link https://www.uber.com/careers/benefits.

  Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Uber's cultural identity. Unless formally approved to work fully remotely, Uber expects employees to spend at least half of their work time in their assigned office. For certain roles, such as those based at green-light hubs, employees are expected to be in-office for 100% of their time.
