The Department of Natural Resources's (DNR's) Enterprise Projects and Performance Management Office (EPPMO) is seeking a skilled and energetic individual to provide expert-level research, analyses, and evaluation, and make recommendations regarding complex and multidimensional issues and initiatives across departmental lines to management staff.
DutiesResponsibilities:
Lead the EPPMO in the analysis and development of enterprise-wide business requirements and documentation.Research and identify highly complex issues or problems impacting agency initiatives.Develop and document comprehensive business requirements, cross-functional flow charts, and training, learning, and reference materials.Identify and present implications and impacts of changes to processes, policies, and procedures.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in public administration, technology, business administration, or closely related field;*AND *two years of experience in business analysis and developing statutory, technical, policy, and business requirements;*OR *an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.Intermediate skill level/proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.Intermediate skill level/proficiency with design, build, and administration of project libraries, lists, and toolkit platforms such as Microsoft SharePoint.Intermediate skill level/proficiency with design, build, and administration of process improvement approaches and projects.Demonstrated experience and proficiency in two or more, or a combination of the following areas:project managementperformance measurement/managementbusiness analysis and requirements developmentcontinuous improvementpreparing and presenting effective and accurate analysis narrative, statistical and graphical reportsDemonstrated experience:create work plans, proposals, briefings, and traininguse schedules, timelines, and other graphics to report status and stay on trackbreak down, sort, and synthesize information, identify trends and key themes, form accurate conclusions and display them through charts and graphics, and develop appropriate action steps and recommendationsimprove and streamline work processes beyond the specific assignment, focusing on outcomes and taking calculated risks - flexible and able to embrace challenges and changecreate, establish, monitor, and measure work plans, and work with others to enhance and enable work plan implementationorganize multiple assignments, and produce work products that are accurate, thorough and on-time
