　　Supports and works with ESL students individually or in small groups with grade level material under the direction of a classroom teacher to speak and write in the English language.Supports and reinforces reading and comprehension strategies.Records and reports assessment data to teachers and school administrator; completes required forms, reports, and other paperwork.Supports curriculum (reading, writing, math) intervention programs for students.Works with school team and stakeholders to discuss students' goals and progress and discuss additional interventions as needed.Administer assessment tests and interpret results to identify student needs.Attends professional development sessions, training programs and conferences to remain current in the field of literacy.Communicate with community, staff, and students to answer questions, disseminate or explain information.Serves as a key resource to other school personnel on ESL students and their challenges; responds to questions and resolves problems or concerns as needed.Translates oral and written correspondence and serves as a liaison between parents and teachers during and after school hours and during school conferences as needed.Serves as a resource and support to ESL students as they adapt to a new culture as needed.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by a person in this position.  They are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all duties that may be performed by such a person.

Preferably one of the following: Arabic, Spanish and/or Albanian.
