ACT is a developer and manufacturer of a broad spectrum of thermal management solutions. We provide thermal solutions for the entire spectrum (within and beyond earth's atmosphere) of the aerospace industry. This development extends from early prototype design to manufacturing of the final product.
An Engineering Technician at ACT supports this process by performing various tasks that facilitate the development of thermal products from prototypes to flight hardware. Engineering Technicians typically provide design support, undertake tasks involving machining, system assembly and testing of prototype hardware and ultimately flight hardware. Technicians in this position work closely with engineers, other technicians, quality control technicians and other vital team members to help develop and test hardware utilized in the aerospace industry.
The Best Candidate Will Have:
US citizenship or permanent residency (strongly preferred due to ITAR requirements).Certificate from a technical school or a minimum of 3 years of related experienceAbility to operate hand tools (drills, drivers, etc.) and basic shop tools (saws, drill press, etc.)Basic Electrical experience in AC and DC circuitsProficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation (e.g., Work instructions)Proficiency in using Microsoft Office product package (Word, Excel)Our work environment demands a candidate with problem solving ability, good communication skills, and dedication to following established procedures for complicated processes.
