Our client provides advanced photonics communications and sensing solutions for warfighters in contested airborne and terrestrial environments. This company leverages microwave photonics and free space optics (FSO) to enable communications, even in jammed situations, with low probability of intercept (LPI) / low probability detection (LPD). Their solutions deliver higher performance with lower SWaP and are Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA) compliant. Led by an agile, innovative team of experts across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and program management, possesses the knowledge and expertise to deliver mission-critical solutions to the warfighter. Four years of experience in the design of mixed signal hardware circuits including FPGAs and CPLDs, ADCs and DACs, microprocessor, and DSP processor circuits, linear and switching voltage regulators, clock circuits, active and passive filters, and serial communication circuits Design, simulation, and test of FPGA based digital logic designs using industry standard design suites Experience with the decomposition, traceability, and verification of digital design requirements We need this person to have experience and knowledge to do Board design. Digital boards, analog circuitry, PWB. Good troubleshooting skills in the lab. We have 2 major developments that are going on and we would most likely use them for our free space optical line. The 3rd phase will require us to do a redesign. Could be ethernet, fiber optics, laser communications, transceivers
