Description: The Support Engineer position will support test, overhaul and repair operations within the Palmdale Engineering Labs, Electromagnetics department at the Palmdale Aeronautics Facility. Uses SAP and SFM daily to prepare articles for fabrication, QA and test on rework, and release production orders. Uses Microsoft Excel to maintain records of stock, needed release dates, and position to program need on WIP. Works with Engineers, Production Control, Manufacturing Engineer, Quality Engineer, etc. to prevent issues and resolve problems that may arise. Helps to keep Kanban inventory accurate and assists with Kanban cycle counts as needed. Supports team in process improvements. Fills out weekly Kit Release Plan to keep correct amount of WIP in lab.

　　Ability to obtain a secret security clearance, and must be able to obtain an interim secret clearance prior to start so therefore all candidates must be a US Citizen.

　　Pay Rate:

　　The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $46,700 - $89,500 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
