　　The Thomas Hill Energy Center-Power Division has an Engineering student clerk position approved for 2024 for a family member of a current Thomas Hill Energy Center employee, who can provide proof of enrollment in, or who are returning to, a higher educational facility (e.g. university, college, or trade school) for the upcoming fall 2024 semester as a full-time student. Applicant selection to fill summer positions at the Thomas Hill plant will be determined by previous summer work experience at the plant, followed by the parent’s Thomas Hill Energy Center seniority. Preference will also be given to dependent sons and daughters of our current employees .

　　Summer positions are created because there is a need for extra help at the plant in addition to providing a means of assistance, through wages paid, for the summer employees to further their education. As with any position, attention to detail as well as attendance and being on time are an important requirement. Student Clerks are eligible to start summer employment on either May 13th or May 20th, 2024.

　　Primary responsibilities include the following:

　　Audit hardcopy content in the library and throughout the plant: review, scan and upload missing content to electronic archive

　　Audit electronic archive: review metadata for accuracy and completeness

　　Utilize pdf software to edit/organize/create files

　　Operate the copier/plotter to print and scan content

　　Manipulate spreadsheets to organize data

　　Organize library content

　　Communicate with appropriate persons to ensure accurate data is collected for content
