Location: Rochester, NY 14610 (Onsite)

As an Engineering Specialist, you will: The successful candidate will be responsible for the board level modifications, troubleshooting and testing, repairing of hardware, assembly/disassembly of equipment, and fixturing for tactical radio accessory products and accessories. Knowledge of IPC-610, IPC-620, and IPC-7711/7721 (certification preferred) - if not certified but has knowledge we can get them the certified. Proven and effective communications skills and interpersonal skills are a must. PWB level modification and build experience (SMT devices, removal, soldering). Fixture design and assembly (basic mechanical skills). Measurement of key performance parameters using analyzers, generators, oscilloscopes, and meters. Expertise in evaluation of designs for testability; Working knowledge of the fundamentals of In-Circuit Test (ICT), functional board level testing, unit and system level testing, coverage analysis. Microsoft Office knowledge (email, report, documentation etc.). The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor's degree in electrical technology, or 2-year degree with equivalent experience. IPC-610, IPC-620, and IPC-7711/7721 Certification preferred. Cable building and repair experience desired. Understanding of software defined radio products and communications. Pay Range*: $40-$45 per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
