About Engineering Production Supervisor

  Overview and Essential Functions

  A successful OSP/Design Supervisor (Engineering Production Supervisor) will be overseeing the process of producing telecom design deliverables. This role must be effective at organizing multiple people around one or many different projects and/or clients and be capable of solving complex OSP design related problems. The position is required to provide weekly reports on their team’s production successes and failures to upper management. A working knowledge of telecommunication networks, architectures, and the end-to-end deployment including common construction practices is required for this position.

  Responsibilities: • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment. • Capable of leading cooperative efforts between internal and external customers, as well as being an enthusiastic team leader. • Strong ability in tools like Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel to identify and present data issues and opportunities. • Receive, organize, file, and maintain documents and/or data as well as read, interpret, input, and analyze data.

  Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (GIS, Geography, Urban Planning, Computer Science) or 5+ years’ related experience. • Proficient in the use of hardware and engineering specific software (PCs, Tablets, IKE, ArcMap, Ocalc Pro, CAD, ArcGIS, Google, etc.) • Advanced proficieny in assigned function (Drafting, Designing, Make Ready, Geographic Information Systems, etc.) • Authorized to work in the United States. • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check.
