Theposition is eligible for relocation and is based in our Headquarters inWaukesha, WI, located between Madison and Milwaukee. Essential Duties &Responsibilities: Manage and grow a high-performing team of engineersspecializing in the full development cycle of Generac\'s batterymanagement systems. Define a portfolio and execution plan for batterymanagement development projects and improvement projects; support withappropriate analyses (e.g, RoI, revenue impact, budget analysis, etc).Drive the architecture, implementation, and validation of batterymanagement systems. Evaluate and negotiate product/solutionrequirements; assimilate with Core bms platform strategy; and ensure theteam\'s work is aligned. Enable a culture that fosters a positiveemployee work environment and embraces an open exchange ideas andviewpoints. Work with employees to help them achieve their fullpotential at Generac; recognize employee contributions and rewardoutstanding contributions. Identify and anticipate resource conflictsand workflow conflicts, work to resolve them constructively. Supportfinancial discipline; plan and organize budgets to support strategicinitiatives. Most importantly, develop innovative technology, tackledifficult problems, and help deliver world-class energy solutions to ourcustomers! Minimal Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree inElectrical Engineering, or Physics. Minimum 10 years of relevant workexperience. 5 years managing a team. Preferred Qualifications: Master\'sin Engineering. Prior experience as a tech lead delivering high-techhardware & firmware solutions. Demonstrated strong knowledge of powerelectronics hardware, semiconductor power devices, and advanced digitalcontrol systems.
