Job Type: Full time; contract (7 months)
Schedule: Onsite, 6:45 AM - 03:15 PM [Lunch: 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM]
Location: Wichita, KS 67215
Pay Rate: $42.00 per hour
Job Description:
I. Responsible for the assembly of complete prototype and production aircrafts, and test articles by installing a variety of sheet metal, Composite and/or machined assemblies for new or modified articles according to engineering instructions.
II. Responsible for supporting lesser grade team members in the proper assembly and installation of major aircraft assemblies, as required to meet engineering and schedule objectives.
III. Responsible for FO prevention in all articles and aircrafts that they are assigned to.
IV. Familiar with the proper use of assembly tooling and fixtures, as well as various precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, scales, and all types of gages.
V. May build shop-aids, jigs, and fixtures for Experimental projects.
VI. Responsible for own work.
VII. Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications
High School or GED equivalent
Minimum 3 to 5 years sheet metal airframe assembly experience required
Pay Details: $43.01 per hour
