Job Opportunity: System Support Specialist
We're seeking a dynamic and skilled System Support Engineer to join our team. If you have a passion for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and ensuring the seamless functioning of software and systems, this role might be perfect for you.
Responsibilities:
Provide top-notch technical support to customers and in-house departments through various channels (telephone, email, remote desktop).
Troubleshoot and repair equipment returned for service.
Plan, develop, and standardize methods and procedures for testing software and systems.
Assist in the development of software configuration and testing.
Utilize hand and power tools for assembling sub-assemblies and products.
Identify and isolate the root cause of problems, recognizing possible origins of failure.
Assist in Quality Control of rail systems.
Coordinate field service activities to ensure products and systems meet engineering design and customer specifications.
Perform field installations and support both domestically and abroad.
Conduct various types of testing, including functional, system, integration, and regression.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 2 years of experience or associate degree and 3 years of experience
Strong experience in computer troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Advanced knowledge of troubleshooting software and hardware systems.
Experience with remote connections and remote desktop solutions (e.g., VPN connectivity).
Quality control experience.
Familiarity with task-based management systems such as JIRA and Confluence.
Ability to read schematics, mechanical drawings, instructions, and bills of materials.
Independent learner with the ability to work autonomously.
Proven ability to manage changing/multiple priorities effectively.
Working knowledge of common electronics tools (multimeters, function generators, oscilloscopes).
Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Ability to lift 50 lbs
