About the Position: This position is located at US AMCOM, TMDE ACTIVITY, ARMY PRIMARY STANDARDS LABORATORY, PRODUCTION CONTROL & SHIPPING, REDSTONE ARSENAL, AL. The position coordinate/schedules the calibration and/or repair of a variety of test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment (TMDE). Responsibilities Assist customers in checking the status of equipment and respond to customer priority changes. Schedule and coordinate workflow by receiving Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) for calibration and repair IAW the Army Calibration Program. Use a computer to update TMDE database. Enter TMDE received for calibration and/or repair into database and assign work center; assure instrument record data is correct. Apply knowledge of pertinent regulations, procedures, and instructions applicable to calibration support operations. Perform visual inspection of TMDE received, annotating missing or damaged components and notifying customers of discrepancies.
