Responsibilities The purpose of this position is to operate motor vehicles with gross vehicle weight of up to 10,000 pounds. Operates a variety of motor vehicles including pickup trucks, panel trucks, flatbed trucks, carryalls, sedans, crew cab pickup trucks, jeeps and station wagons that weigh up to 10,000 pounds, for transport of personnel, supplies, materials, or equipment and tools throughout the installation. Performs operator maintenance, such as checking fluid levels, air pressure in tires, cleaning and washing vehicles. Loads or assists in loading, unloading, and arranging cargo. Must be able to exert light physical effort in reaching, bending, turning, or moving hands, feet, and legs to operate hand and foot controls. Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license.
