　　Conducts structural (static/dynamic) tests for Aircraft seat/cabin components

　　Perform standard engineering assignments that are required to meet material strength and product deformation allowables

　　Analyze structural components for stresses by hand calculations using knowledge of Strength of Materials

　　Select engineering techniques to solve problems and make design recommendations

　　Reviews and approves design changes from certification perspective for weight sensitive and optimized design solutions

　　Creates and compiles FAA certification documentation for submittal to OEMs, Airline customers and Regulatory agencies

　　Material selection and material specifications correlation

　　Authors, checks and directs preparation of appropriate documentation for assigned projects

　　Ensures successful completion of the assigned project phase within the budgeted time and cost constraints
