Job Description
The End User Support Specialist III, under general direction, provides technical leadership and oversight for deployment and delivery of enterprise-wide end user support projects or services. Participates in mentoring, training and development of other employees.
Salary Information: Expected range is $48,000 - $52,000 annually.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works with the Information Technology Operations Manager to establish protocols and processes for problem management and support. Collaboratively monitors effectiveness of established processes and protocols.
Serves as a “system administrator” for the Learning Management System (LMS), overseeing system parameters and integration utilities in the support of the LMS platform.
Collaborates with the Learning Management System course design team to ensure full utilization of system functionality and complete optimization.
Collaborates with other technical staff to establish enterprise level standards for the implementation of new technology deployments and system integration testing.
Provides oversight and direction in resolving complex procedural, operational and technical issues.
Collaborates with other technical staff to oversee enterprise processes for the evaluation of new technologies. Makes technical recommendations to enterprise executive leadership.
Collaborates with project leaders and executive staff to develop work plans and time schedules for projects including outlining phases and identifying personnel and computing equipment requirements. Serves as a senior member of an information resource team responsible for setting the enterprise’s technical standards and direction.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Five years of related experience in IT.
Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Knowledge of project management, mentoring, negotiation, basic vendor relations, advanced client relations, proposal writing, business acumen, persuasive communication, adaptability to change, team leadership skills, and quality assurance methodologies.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Excellent written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
2-4 years technical hands-on experience with Windows based environments, Mac OS environments, networking, or audio/visual equipment preferred.
Experience with wireless devices such as smartphones, tablets, notebooks, and iPads.
Experience with workstations, printers, and peripherals maintenance experience.
