POSITIONOVERVIEW The Quality Lab Technician is responsible for the accurate andtimely completion of routine testing by following established SOP\'s.This position is also responsible for calibration and routinemaintenance of laboratory equipment and for ordering supplies used bythe lab. This position will support quality audits, change managementprocesses, investigations, customer complaints and corrective actionsfor quality. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Complete lab testing accurately and ontime to ensure all raw materials and products meet requiredspecifications and as business needs require. Test incoming product in atimely fashion and according to established SOPs/protocols and takeimmediate action with product which does not meet specifications. Reportaccurate and timely data, including the generation of Certificates ofAnalysis (COAs). Enter all required data for testing and equipmentcalibration as called for in SOPs/protocols. Operate in a manner thatalways is compliant with health, safety and environmental requirements.Participate as a member of/lead projects and teams to improve quality,testing and operating efficiencies. Calibrate and maintain labequipment. Tasks include, but are not limited to: Checking and replaceinstrument gas cylinders as needed. Performing routine maintenance ofanalytical instrumentation. Maintain testing and instrument areas to bein a clean and organized fashion. Mindful of personal safety of self andothers as well as chemical stewardship. Order supplies in a timelyfashion and restock general use supplies as needed. Support an effectiveChange Management program across the Aspen site which ensures allsystems and processes remain in a validated status. Facilitate andensure Quality Investigations are clear, concise, and supported by soundtechnical justification leading to an Assignable Root Cause and whichhave been conducted in collaboration with Operations, Commercialization,and Logistics associates as appropriate....
