eMobility R&D Test Engineer

TRAVELING 40-50% (DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL)
In our R&D department in USA, we are currently looking for a skilled and motivated electrical engineer to support us in testing next generation charging products/solutions for of e-Mobility applications.
Your responsibilities
Define type test and routine test specifications in accordance with relevant international standards.
Prepare test setups including software, measurement, and data acquisition systems for capturing test results.
Execute testing of power cabinets (AC/DC and DC/DC converter supplying for vehicle chargers) and various type of EV charging interfaces
Documentation of test results and findings in technical reports
Coordinate with external laboratories and certification agencies for performing product verification tests
Your background
BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Knowledge of electrical schematic of High power/low-medium voltage applications, Power electronics (or rectifier)
At least 5 years’ experience in operating laboratory equipment and electrical testing activities
Familiar working with UL standards and working experience with certification agencies (TUV, CSA) and external labs
Strong commitment to safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
Available to travel (domestic and international) as required to participate in test campaigns in external labs
Team spirit with the capacity to work independently, complemented by a quick intellect and well-developed analytical skills.
