What you need to know about this position:
The Ambulance Care Coordinator (ACC) is a paramedic responsible for assisting the manager in the 24/7 operation of the Emergency Medical Services department.
In conjunction with, or the absence of the manager, the ACC will be accountable for supervision and leadership in all EMS sites.
The ACC will have a high degree of professionalism and ownership, and will be expected to build those same qualities in the staff.
The base hourly rate for this position is $27.65. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience and does include shift differentials and premium pay as applicable. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
This full-time, night position would require you to work from 7:00PM-7:30AM, with a weekend and holiday rotation.
What is required for this position:
Education and/or Experience
Indiana Paramedic License required.
Two years of Emergency Medical Service experience is required.
Supervisory experience is preferred, but not required.
Must maintain all certifications required for employment.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
Current Indiana Paramedic Licensure required.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet the hospital's liability insurance carrier requirements.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required.
