What You Can Expect
This position will support in the administration of Zimmer Biomet total rewards programs primarily for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) employees, ensuring internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with applicable regulations and company policies. This individual will work with the compensation Sr. Director to provide internal compensation support and analysis including expatriate management, relocation, total rewards programs (merit, bonus, stock options, ESPP), company cars, market data analysis, compensation issue resolution, benefits, and all other EMEA related compensation programs.
How You’ll Create Impact
Compensation Tasks:
Lead ESPP (Employee Stock Purchase Plan) communication, enrollment, withdrawal, and final data submission for purchase across all of EMEA.
Support the HR Management with detailed information about the LTI packages of selected executive individuals (vesting, operating model of RSUs and stock options, tax simulations).
Support selected executives with questions to their LTI packages.
Interact with the Global Equity Management about specific EMEA or regional LTI issues.
Provide ESPP, LTI and Fidelity trainings to several levels of HR stakeholders.
Support communication, data collection and follow-up with all EMEA countries responsibilities for compensation-related tasks.
Ensure timely and correct submission to annual compensation benchmark surveys such as Willis Towers Watson.
Support annual compensation cycles including annual performance incentive plan (bonus) administration, LTI allocation administration, merit administration and calibration of related budgets.
Support compensation data integrity in HR Systems to ensure accurate and timely use of information for management review and payment authorizations.
Support the Department Senior Director to ensure company compliance with country and regional laws regarding compensation and employee management.
Support of EMEA job description files and job titles.
Contribute to the formulation of compensation and general HR department plans, objectives and strategies.
Member of the company car steering committee which includes the set-up of a new company car policy, guidance to HR stakeholders for local policy implementation, interaction with Sourcing to update reference models, establish a digital company car tracking and fleet management for EMEA VPs and President
Review and approve compensation offers for internal (promotions, market adjustments) and external candidates based on market pricing methodologies
Provide social security and pension simulations for potential executive hires at the HQ in Switzerland
Put together comprehensive social security overviews for selected executives including in depth scenario evaluations
Lead the equal pay analysis for Switzerland (incl. EMEA HQ) and support other countries
Support the Rewards and Recognition programs incl. Ignite.
Develop and implement special projects as assigned.
Global Mobility Management:
Manage Expat payroll in coordination with the home/host country’s responsible person: monthly payroll preparation (requesting data, test for completeness, follow-up on special cases with Ernst & Young or with the country responsible person).
Prepare manually the withholding taxes for Expats on a quarterly base.
Manage payment summaries and invoices recharges, including year-end reconciliations.
Participate in Global Mobility Conference Calls
Administrative, Reporting and Special Projects:
Prepare ad hoc personnel statistics and analysis to assist management in company decisions.
Support fringe benefit budget process.
Support restructuring projects with cost analysis, overview tracking, statistics and C&B inputs
Support mergers and spin-offs if needed
