The Enterprise Maintenance Excellence (EMEx) function in Medtronic plc is part of
the Operation Innovations (OI) Group.
EMEx focus on all aspects of the equipment life cycle, from development, maintain
‘As New’ and ultimate decommissioning. We will engineer the extraordinary
through rigorous application of technical excellence and enterprise-wide
development, deployment, and execution of standardized work and engineering
strategy.
We maximize business value by establishing equipment management systems
(CAMS) and practices for the design and management of equipment to optimize
availability and its effective life, through the prioritization of effective and efficient
planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance.

A Day in The Life Of:
• You will support the daily management of the Enterprise Maintenance
Excellence deployment strategy.
• Co-ordinating and tracking the work elements for internal and external teams to
execute on:
o Computerized Asset Management System (CAMS) global deployment
o Deploy MPS Maintenance Excellence
o Programmatic Savings projects
• You will support the use of best practice tools and techniques in project
management within the EMEx function for the global deployment.
• You will support project management activities across multiple sites in parallel,
establishing systems and processes to manage the project pipeline, project
planning, tracking, risk management, communications, budgets and KPI’s.
Senior Project Engineer
• You will participate in managing changing priorities on projects through effective schedule management and deployment of PM methodologies.
• You will be supporting and leading and driving projects / sub-projects as necessary.
• You will support the establishment of best practice standards and principles for equipment requirements and maintenance.
• Will collaborate, grow and nurture cross site and cross functional relationships in a large, multi-site, matrixed organization.
• You will understand and comply with company policies & procedures and external standards & guidance.
• You will generate novel and unique solutions to both project and organizational challenges.
• Executes daily activities, always adhering to the Maintenance Excellence Code of Ethics, bounded by honesty, fairness, respect, and accountability.
Key Skills & Experience
• Third Level 8 Degree or higher in Project Management, Engineering, with 5 years + relevant experience in a similar type of role
• Ability to lead, and collaborate effectively, work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams.
• Good understanding of project management, and preferably have PMP Professional accreditation.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills and ability to develop warm cross functional relationships.
• Good organizational, computer, presentation and project management skills
