　　We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop and validate security features for Qualcomm modem - a multi-threaded DSP interacting with various hardware blocks.

　　The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in developing, debugging & optimizing embedded software in C for DSP’s. Exposure to embedded security aspects is highly desirable.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Design & develop new security features on modem DSP.

　　Validate, test and debug new/existing code.

　　Collaborate with cross functional teams to triage issues and get work done.

　　Desired skills:

　　Proficiency in programming embedded C and RTOS.

　　Low level debugging using JTAG debugger.

　　Experience in Embedded build environment (scons, dynamic loading/linking)

　　Understanding of LLVM, ELF file format, linkers and linker-related concepts

　　Understanding of ARM or any other processor architecture

　　Knowledge of Security aspects, cryptography, attacks on embedded devices is desirable.

　　Excellent problem solving / debugging skills

　　Excellent communication and articulation skills as collaboration with multiple teams is key.

　　Quick learner with a zeal to learn new security aspects.

　　Qualification:

　　B.Tech (ECE/CS) and 2-5 years of embedded development work experience.

　　OR

　　M.Tech (ECE/CS) and 1-4 years of embedded development work experience.

　　Minimum Qualifications:

　　• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

　　OR

　　Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.

　　OR

　　PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

　　• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
