Under the direction of the Director of Public Health and Human Services, the Eligibility Worker Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operations, performance, and personnel in the Income Maintenance Unit in determining the initial and ongoing eligibility of customers for a multitude of public assistance programs to assure operations conform to federal, state, and county policies, procedures, program rules, regulations, and guidelines. The Eligibility Worker Supervisor assumes a caseload to maintain knowledge of programs, polices and computer systems/applications utilized by financial workers and department personnel (e.g. MAXIS and MMIS).
