About the Opportunity
BAE Systems in Fort Wayne is searching for a highly motivated Electronics Engineer who will provide a 1 st level of troubleshooting to ensure product compliance and will drive ongoing test process efficiency through continuous improvement. Our Electronics Engineers are expected to be able to troubleshoot failing circuits down to a component level in order to be able to disposition the product for repair. Depending on application type, our Electronics Engineer may be interacting with Analog, Digital, and/or Programmable logic technologies. Troubleshooting is accomplished with the use of standard electrical lab and test equipment but familiarity with advanced tools/techniques is a plus. This role does not have a design aspect specifically; however, our Electronics Engineers engage with our design teams to understand issues and drive improvement initiatives in order to approve test yield. While experience is preferred, entry level candidates that are goal-oriented, driven by challenges, and willing to learn in order to grow their skills are encouraged to apply as we are willing to train applicants with applicable background.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology (EET), Electrical Engineering (EE), or equivalent technical degree program/experience.
Intermediate-level technical skills and knowledge of technical requirements
Electronics component level troubleshooting and instrument familiarity (analog and/or digital)
General understanding of electronics manufacturing process
Ability to interpret technical specifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) or Electrical Engineering (EE), or equivalent technical degree program/experience.
Lean Manufacturing experience
Demonstrated ability in isolating electrical failures to root cause
Ability to interpret and apply specifications, standards, and customer requirements
Demonstrated ability to coordinate and organize multiple activities in a team environment
Advanced-level technical skills, knowledge of technical requirements, and system flows skills relevant to job/area of work
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $61830 - $105120
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
