  SSSD has an opening for an Electronic Technician 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Manhattan Beach, California.

  The selected candidate will primarily support test and checkout of flight level electronic hardware, in a production environment. The candidate's initial assignment will be support of various types of electronic hardware developed.

  Essential Functions:

  Support RF, Power, and Digital, testing of flight Hardware

  Support test activities on 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift

  Perform test and checkout of assembly, circuit card, slice, and unit level hardware

  May require test of experimental design circuitry, prototype models, or specialized test equipment

  Must be able to work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal direction, layouts, or defined test plans

  Should be capable of conducting tests and collecting data, using standard test equipment; such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, DVMs, and signal generators

  The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels. Candidate must be comfortable in a lab environment and be able to collaborate closely with system engineers, hardware designers, test engineers, and various technicians.

  This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

  Basic Qualifications:

  High School Diploma and training in Electronic Technology

  10 years of related electronic test experience in a process driven environment

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Associate of Science Degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent

  10+ years of electronic test experience, in a space flight or complex military hardware environment

  The ability to obtain DoD Secret, and SCI clearance

  Salary Range: $62,900 - $104,900

  The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

  Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
