SUMMARY:
The Electromechanical Field Technician is key to the successfulelectro-mechanical installation of our automated storage systemsequipment at our customers\' sites in the USA and Canada. Techniciansact as the lead over other laborers to ensure accurate and timely systeminstallation, test, commissioning, and repair of equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Advanced assembly, mechanical installation, and electrical installationof automated storage systems and associated components
Test and adjust the mechanical and electrical as necessary
Leadthe connectivity of the automation hardware to the softwareenvironment.
Resolve any electromechanical issues
Coordinate and manage small teams of workers at customers\' sites.
Create quality and status reports regarding the project or service call
Communicate any issues that arise to the Project Manager.
Lead the final quality assurance and safety tests on installed equipmentand complete all required documentation
Train customers on system routine maintenance operations
Provide scheduled preventive maintenance and on-demand correctivemaintenance services to customers as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
MUST have material handling industry experience
3 years of industrial maintenance or electromechanical experiencepreferred
Ability to travel (USA and Canada)100%of the time
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans(Mechanical and/or electrical).
Basic knowledge or familiarity with troubleshooting and repairing issuesrelated to technical equipment
Responsible, results-oriented person who can be trusted to accomplishthe established objectives of each project on time, safely, and with thehighest degree of integrity
Excellent communication skills
Ability and willingness to work variable hours including weekend, night,and/or holiday work
Ability and willingness to lift, lower and carry objects up to 50 lbs.,work from heights, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
Must have a valid driver\'s license and a good driving record
Spanish language fluency is a plus
