　　Introduction:

　　A full time millimeter Wave Electrical Engineer RF Board designer will interface directly with Globalfoundries engineers to create custom millimeter wave (mmWave) manufacturing test solutions. This engineer will design mmWave hardware, debug test hardware for 5G, Radar and the growing field of low orbit satellites. The engineer will interface with external customers to understand requirements for testing their RF integrated circuits on wafers fabricated in Globalfoundries. The engineer will develop a test solution using Cadence Allegro, ADS and HFSS 3d RF simulators. The engineer will work in a highly skilled team of BS, MS and PHd EE, CS and ME engineers inventing and continuously improving our systems for making GF the most advanced mmWave semiconductor test supplier.

　　Essential Responsibilities:

　　● Understand the basic design of mmWave circuits and the electrical equipment required to measure those circuits.

　　● Design test circuit boards using Cadence Allegro, which will interface between the device under test and the test equipment.

　　● Use 2d and 3d electromagnetic simulators like Keysight’s ADS and Ansoft’s HFFS

　　● Leverage commercially available RF components in board and box mmWave instrument designs

　　● Perform all activities in a safe ad responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

　　Required Qualifications:

　　● Education – BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering

　　● 2-4 Years’ Experience Designing RF circuits at the board and system level

　　● Travel – (1% travel required)

　　● Knowledge of Cadence Allegro Board design tools

　　● Skills in mechanical design using programs such as solid works

　　● Language Fluency – English

　　● Physical Capacity Demands – ability to use a computer

　　● Available for work in Bangalore India on site several days/week

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　● Knowledge of ADS momentum or equivalent RF circuit simulation tools

　　● Phd EE in RF engineering

　　● Experience programming in a Linux environment

　　● Experience designing RF circuits

　　● Hands on experience with RF matching and RF test equipment

　　● Knowledge of R or equivalent data analysis software
