ASSEMBLER - (ELECTROMECHANIC)
Responsibilities and Duties
Read and interpret drawings, schematics and electromechanical assembly diagrams.
Crimp different types of wires and cables of various dimensions using different contacts, lugs and splices.
Install cables, wiring harnesses and sub-assemblies according to markers, cabling diagrams and cabinet drawings.
Perform the mechanical assembly of capacitors & reactors with the help of drawings, design etc.
Perform manual or mechanical braiding according to work order requirements.
Assemble, adjust and install parts or prefabricated elements (assemblies, wiring or mechanical systems) on capacitor banks.
Modify or adjust complex or small electromechanical parts.
Mechanical:
• Build/assemble electrical panels and enclosures
• use machine shop equipment & tooling like bandsaw, drill press, bending/punching metal work. (Operate metalworking machines to make housings, fittings, and fixtures)
• install components up to 50 pounds weight (for power electronics like capacitors, reactors, circuit breakers) . .
• cut/crimp cables of all size, for power cable wiring.
• Verify dimensions of parts, using precision measuring instruments
• Use handheld tools like electric cutters and crimpers
Electrical:
• Read electrical schematics and general arrangement drawings (control panel wiring is a MAJOR PLUS) to determine the method and sequence of assembly of a machine or a piece of equipment
• Use soldering equipment and handtools to install electronic parts and hardware
• experience using electrical testing equipment (multi-meters, fluke meters)

Qualifications and Skills
High School diploma or equivalent. Diploma in Electrical Assembly is preferred.
A minimum of 12 months of relevant experience.
Proficient using wiring tools.
Proficient using various hand tools including drills and mechanical presses.
Ability to work well with fellow employees including active participation in employee involvement activities and problem solving.
Electrical equipment manufacturing experience.

Salary from $22 to $24
