We are looking for Machine Operators to join Alemite SKF in Johnson City, TN. If you can ensure the safe and efficient packing of products, while utilizing your experience as a machine operator in a high-speed manufacturing environment; we have the job for you!

　　salary: $17 - $20 per hour

　　shift: First

　　work hours: 5 AM - 4 PM

　　education: No Degree Required

　　Responsibilities

　　Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirement

　　Positions workpiece in machine chuck, jigs, or other type holding fixtures

　　Pushes button or depresses pedal to activate machine

　　Observes machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction.

　　Measures workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation

　　Removes burrs and sharp edges from workpiece

　　Performs minor machine adjustments to maintain tolerances as specified by work instructions and/or the drawing

　　Performs minor maintenance of work area and equipment such as housekeeping, machine lubrication, and remove of chips.

　　The essential functions of this role include:

　　wearing steel toe shoes

　　working in a non-temperature controlled environment

　　manual lifting up to 50lbs

　　standing for 10 hours at one time

　　working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
