　　We are looking for a Duty Engineer to become part of our professional and hard-working Engineering team. Hilton Auckland Engineers go beyond hospitality, they are ultimate stay creators!

　　What will I be doing?

　　This role involves:

　　Maintaining the building and plant properly and efficiently by following the guidelines in all Maintenance and Policy manuals.Responsibility for the investigation and completion of general maintenance problems within the hotel in a professional manner e.g., paintingTo keep a complete record of all work carried out and provide this to the Building/Security Manager at the end of each shiftCarrying out painting and decorating tasks as directedEnsuring high level of communication is maintained with all other hotel departments, taking a proactive approach to informing departments of compliance requirements and being receptive to other departments’ needsPerforming related duties and special projects as assignedWhat are we looking for?

　　The successful candidate for this role will bring:

　　1 years' experience in the same positionCompetency in the use of all hand tools, power tools and equipmentKnowledge of fire panels, sprinklers, emergency lights and fire pumpsFlexible full-time availability to work morning and evening shiftsFamiliarly with hotel engineering equipment maintenance and repairsSound communication and coordination skillsProficient in English to meet business needsEligibility to lawfully work in New ZealandIt will be beneficial if you maintain the following:

　　Painting & Carpentry experience preferred Diploma or certification in maintenanceBenefits
