Positions Summary : Install, construct, maintain, and repair various electrical systems, components, and machines in industrial and commercial locations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Proficient with PLC installing, troubleshooting, resetting, and operationBends and installs all sizes and types of conduit and other raceways in a neat and workmanlike mannerInstalls all sizes and types of conductors (including power and telecommunications) in conduit, cable trays and other raceways.Terminates and/or connects wire to terminal strips, lugs, instruments, devices, relays, and other control devicesInstalls circuit breakers, equipment, panels, transformers, switchboards, boxes, and devicesWorks with blueprints, schematic drawings, sketches, and line diagrams.* Work directly with management · Will work alongside others on the jobsite - including electrical work, welding, insulating, and any other tasks as required. · Oversee the completion of work· Watch over day-to-day safety, productivity, accuracy, materials, rental equipment and workmanship of each project · Plan and schedule, review and approve all work to be performed on jobsite · Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers and subcontractors · Interpret documents such as: safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals · Calculate figures and amounts such as: proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume · Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists · Write routine reports & correspondence · Fit and install iron pipe and structural steel (including welding) · Install electrical conduit and wire · Insulate pipe and tanks Certifications : State Journeyman "General Electrician" License · 3 - 5 years of experience in an industrial setting · Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. · Strong background in motor controls and wire three phase motors preferred. · Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. · Ability to perform heavy physical activity performing strenuous daily activities of a primarily technical nature.
