Electrical Technician
$22-$28/HR
1st or 2nd shift
Description:
• Perform electrical functionality testing on custom control panels and systems per documentation
• Inspect electrical control panels per schematic / BOM
• Upload Engineered program files via USB and manual data entry to controllers, VFD drives and PLC equipment
• Rework / repair of faulty components / circuits as needed and ensure all documentation is recorded
• Perform Low and High Voltage wiring as needed
• Identify opportunities for improvement based on inspection and test results
• Complete QC documentation and problem resolution logs
• Have aptitude for and perform electrical troubleshooting
• Interface with customers and/or service technicians to resolve test issues
• Identify and relay errors to coworkers in a professional and efficient manner
• Read, understand and utilize various engineering and manufacturing documents including bills of materials, assembly drawings, assembly instructions, wiring schematics and diagrams
• Assist in establishing and implementing best work practices
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• 2 years electrical technical training (Associates or equivalent preferred)
• 2+ years electrical live power testing experience preferred
• Knowledge of electrical testing equipment (meters, etc.)
• Experience with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills required
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics / diagrams required
• High motivation level and ability to multi-task
