DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:Position Overview: The Production Engineering Department is seeking an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to work with IPT (Integrated Product Teams) to usher the product through the manufacturing process to delivery. The successful candidate will possess the ability to influence, grow and evolve within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities: In this position, you will be responsible for:* Planning, monitoring and troubleshooting manufacturing operations related to circuit cards and electro-optical assemblies* Reviewing and approving product designs and drawings for manufacturability and identifying tooling and fixture requirements* Designing, reviewing, and approving tooling and fixtures and developing the processes for using them* Developing and maintaining work instructions and manufacturing process documentation* Ensuring manufacturing processes are capable of meeting approved design requirements and revising or developing new processes as required.* Working in a cross-functional team while developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers.
The position is located onsite at our facility in Danbury, CT.
