Data analysis will be second nature to you, as you regularly collaborate with carriers to solve problems and drive continuous improvement. In addition, your expertise will also extend to supporting Procurement with contract creation and negotiation.

strongKey Responsibilities:/strong/p

Ownership of the Carrier Management relationships for the WDN network for- Large Parcel across the EU UK; including leading the weekly performance reviews with our carriers.

Building and strengthening strong partnerships that are agile to support Wayfair fluctuating demands.

Effective ‘live’ problem solving management of time critical impacts, understanding the detail and quickly utilizing partners both internally and externally to quickly overcome; escalating where needed.

Data Analysis, regularly addressing trends with carriers (weekly/monthly) to problem solve and drive continuous improvement.

Supporting Procurement with contract creation negotiation.

Regular attendance to face to face meetings in the UK.

Identifying and continuously improving our processes and approach- raising the bar.

strongRequirements:/strong/p

Must have a Finance, Economics, Maths, Engineering or Logistics proven further education or qualification by demonstrated experience.

Excellent communicator, someone who quickly builds strong partnerships and displays a persuasive ability to leverage maximum support.

Data driven, someone who shows a strength in handling big data, identifying insights and translating into business decisions.

Thrive within an agile, fast paced environment, remaining calm, composed and focused on the priorities without neglecting the day-to-day requirements.

Have the ability to ‘think outside the box’, utilising resources, internal and external partners to quickly reduce or remove negative impact to Wayfairs ability to meet our high standards.

Confident in IT systems and navigating multiple applications simultaneously.

Flexibility to travel regularly to the UK (typically twice a quarter).
