Bend, Cut, and Install Conduit according to NEC CodePull Wire above drop ceiling, in walls, in conduit, in joists exposed ceilings, etc.Terminate wire at terminals and make wire nut joints.The use of various power tools such as but not limited to, drills, rotary hammers and bandsawsThe ability to use and read a tape measure and conduct simple construction mathInstallation must maintain compliance with NEC and NFPA 72Maintain clean and safe work environmentReview new project information with lead technicianQualifications
Must be a team playerRead drawings and blueprintsOrganizational skills - ability to plan and coordinate your workMaintain accurate time sheets for time allocation and costing purposesMust be on time and provide a full days workHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentMust have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and a clean driving recordAbility to pass background checks and drug/alcohol screenings
Additional Qualifying Factors
Fire alarm Installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, or inspection experience a plus, but not requiredExperience with 12v - 70v DC and 120v AC a plus, but not requiredKnowledge of CCTV, Data, and Access Control a plus, but not requiredAbility to operate scissor or aerial liftsAbility to work flexible hours, weekends and/or overtime when requiredThe following Certifications a Plus, But Not Required
BICSI, City of Pittsburgh Electrician License, NICET Fire Alarm Certifications, West Virginia Low Voltage License, Ohio Fire Certification, OSHA Certifications, Commercial Drivers License with H endorsement
Work Environment/Physical Requirements
Work offsite at customer facilities clean and unclean conditions, hot/cold environmentsWork indoors and outdoors in the elementsAbility to climb ladders from 6 ft. to 32 ft. and work from heights, as neededSafety shoes, hard hats and other safety apparel may be required at certain sitesSome overnight travel may be required
