　　JMT is seeking a current full-time Electrical Engineering student entering their Junior or Senior year within an ABET Accredited program. The intern will be a member of our growing Facilities Engineering practice in the Hunt Valley, MD office. The intern will be asked to work closely with engineering employees to carry out an array of assigned tasks. The tasks will range from data entry, making changes to existing engineering drawings to design of small engineering projects in addition to documentation and field support of Design and Commissioning activities. Other duties include, but are not limited to, assembling data and assisting with problem-solving requiring basic theories and engineering fundamentals; utilizing computer programs to solve engineering problems; assisting with layout and design of routine small and medium-sized engineering projects, technical evaluation of equipment and material, and maintaining accurate and current project documentation. 　　Essential Functions and Responsibilities

　　Enter data into systems

　　Make edits and updates to existing engineering drawings and projects

　　Coordinate new small-scale projects

　　Assemble data and research

　　Assist with administrative duties

　　Provide input on solutions to problems using basic theories and engineering fundamentals

　　Assist with layout and design of routine small and medium-sized engineering projects

　　Evaluate equipment and material

　　Maintain accurate and current project documentation

　　Perform other related duties as assigned

　　Required Skills

　　Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

　　Excellent verbal and written communication skills

　　Ability to successfully function in a fast paced cooperative team environment spanning across multiple offices

　　Desire to participate and excel with a broad range of project types, roles, customers and tasks

　　Working knowledge of Auto CADD, REVIT, and Microstation along with computing production tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred

　　Required Experience

　　Equivalency of a Junior or Senior status from an ABET Accredited Electrical Engineering degree program

　　Previous related working experience, which may include work done concurrent to completion of engineering degree program, preferred

　　Working Conditions

　　Work is performed within a general office environment 80% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.

　　Field work is required on occasion where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 30 lbs) may be required as needed.
