　　DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:As a Mechanic at RXO, you will be responsible for maintaining tractors and trailers, and performing necessary repairs while adhering to company standards and safety policies. This role is critical to providing our drivers with safe and reliable equipment and helping us continue to deliver superior service to our customers.

　　What your day-to-day will look like:* Inspect, maintain and repair tractors and trailers to ensure a safe and efficient operation* Perform routine maintenance and repairs to tractors and trailers* Utilize troubleshooting techniques to resolve tractor and trailer malfunctions* Perform preventive maintenance on tractors and trailers* Ensure all paperwork required for maintenance and repairs of tractors and trailers is completed accurately and maintained in accordance with company standards* Continually recommend measures to improve production and quality methods, equipment performance and use, safety and workplace environment

　　What you'll need to excel:At a minimum, you'll need:* 2 years of experience in tractor/trailer maintenance

　　It'd be great if you also have:* Access any area of the equipment to perform necessary maintenance* Inspect and perform work in, on or under parts of tractors/trailers* Safely walk and stand for extended periods of time on various surfaces that may be uneven or slippery
