Work includes, among other things, estimating, conceptual studies, cost and planning studies, layouts, system sizing calculations, specification development and electrical one-line diagrams. Able to effectively communicate technical solutions and concepts to other engineers and non-engineers. Mentor junior Electrical Engineers and depending on size and complexity of scope of work may be assigned as the Electrical Engineering Lead for a project. Maintains and promotes a focus on end product whether engineering, fabrication, or construction. Ensures effective communications among other engineering disciplines. Ensures effective management of change. Assumes responsibility for cost, schedule, quantity, and budget control.This role is for you if you have these skills:Able to provide technical guidance for the pertinent portions of the assigned projects. Provides necessary calculations and project overview of other Engineers and Designers.A history of developing and monitoring project scopes and schedules for applicable discipline and team of Engineers and Designers. Able to identify changes in scope / schedule and their impact, as they occur.Documented coordination of design efforts with other disciplines and client personnel.Ability to Monitor and ensures design work and documents are correct, consistent with applicable codes, logically presented and constructible.Well versed in design practices for medium and low voltage electrical distribution including, but not limited to, lighting, grounding, lightning protection, power distribution, heat tracing, protective relaying, fire detection, and electrical area classification. Experience applying industry codes and standards (NEC, IEEE, NEMA, NFPA). Knowledgeable of electrical design practices for Class I and II areas (classified for gas and dust).Knowledgeable in design of solar farms and proficient in the use of solar/grounding design tools/software such as PVsyst, XGSLab, etc.Ability to work in Revit, AutoCad, and Bluebeam. Proficient in the use of electrical system modeling software such as SKM and/or ETAP to perform power system studies (short circuit, coordination, arc flash, load flow, etc.) including DC analysis.Strong organizational skills and effective verbal/written communication skills for execution of multiple projects. Experience in effective project execution and project procedures. Ability to supervise and lead the completion of projects (ability to effectively manage project discipline schedule and budget).Experience in the development of the design basis for Capital Project Cost Estimates.And if you have these qualifications:BS Degree in Electrical Engine
