The Electrical Engineer - Level 1 is responsible for performing basicelectrical power, lighting, and low voltage system engineering tasks forelectrical construction projects, under the direct supervision of anupper level Engineer, Senior Electrical Designer, or Engineering TeamLeader as assigned by the Corporate Engineering Manager. The idealcandidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft OfficeSuite, AutoCAD knowledge is required, knowledge of electricalterminology and symbols is required. Knowledge of AutoCAD-Electrical isa plus.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
or
Education: Bachelors Degree in Architectural Engineering - Electrical
or
Education: Associate Degree in Electrical Technology
Experience: 4 years of progressive electrical engineering related

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares and studies technical drawings, and electricalspecifications to ensure that installations and designs conform tostandards and customer requirements.Conducts field surveys and studies diagram and other data toidentify and correct power system problems.Operates computer-assisted engineering and design software andequipment to perform engineering tasks.Performs detailed calculations to compute and establish constructionstandards and specifications, with direction from an upper-levelEngineer.Plans layout of electrical construction projects with direction froman upper level Engineer.Performs other related duties as required and assigned.The job description and responsibilities described are intended toprovide guidelines for job expectations and the employee\'s ability toperform the position described.
