This position requires determining the effects of radiation environments on various components and systems. Radiation test data will be collected and used to verify component behavior in a variety of radiation environments. Tasks include analyzing and interpreting test data and leading and/or participating on teams that resolve technical issues. This position requires close interface with radiation effects systems engineers and designers to assure proper component selections are made.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, develop and execute radiation tests on electrical components and systems
Design and develop component test hardware/software for various radiation environments
Develop radiation characterization and radiation lot acceptance test plans
Analyze and interpret radiation test data
Develop and execute detailed test schedules
Prepare radiation test reports
Prepare and present radiation results and achieve customer approvals
Provide work direction and support for other engineers and technicians
Experience working in radiation environments, radiation facilities, and dosimetry systems to include prompt dose, total dose, neutron, proton and heavy ion
Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering
