　　Bring your proven warehouse management experience to this 3PL company in Norfolk and make an impact immediately. We are looking for someone to maximize productivity on the floor, ensure training & retention plans are followed as well as controls measurable in relation to cost for productivity. This warehouse specializes in food grade storage and handling, polymers, plastics, chemicals and customized packaging and fulfillment services. Looking for someone with a minimum of 10 years of management experience in a related industry, 3PL experience preferred. Looking for a self-starter with the capability of making sound, well thought out decisions. Must have the ability to successfully pass background check and drug screening. 　　Responsibilities

　　Responsible for overseeing the site's financial, operational, people, process and service-related objectives to drive continuous improvement and efficiency gains to reduce overall costs

　　Direct and manage warehouse staff of approximately 12+ employees to ensure operational excellence. Coach, train and develop employes by providing both informal and formal job performance-based feedback

　　Meet and communicate professionally with customers

　　Control inventory levels

　　Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts, inspecting equipment, issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement

　　Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions

　　Complete sites' operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees

　　Evaluate and make recommendations for work methods, procedures, controls and staffing to achieve accurate and timely movement and processing of product, including food grade

　　Manage warehouse layout for maximum efficiency

　　Support and champion safety efforts

　　The essential functions of this role include:
